A Good Time To Pie

Watching kids learn cooking skills from their grandparents is one of my favorite type of moments to photograph. So much care can be conveyed through providing food to one another - and the generational skills that are passed down through the act of preparing a meal or a dessert are truly special.

Time with grandparents is especially valuable; I’m thankful to have the opportunity to document it. Nearly 15 years ago now my dad was diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain cancer. He survived and now cherry-picking days like these are extra sweet.
